"We can't touch your money" is built in, not promised

Every custodial platform says "your funds are safe with us." It's a promise — and promises break when the platform is under pressure.
MotePay is built so that sentence isn't a promise at all. It's how the system physically works:
- Your keys are generated and held on your side, not ours.
- Moving your funds requires your keys. We don't have them, so we can't move your money — not for a regulator, not by mistake, not even if we wanted to.
- The most we ever handle is the payment flow around your funds, never custody of the funds themselves.
The difference matters most on the worst day. When a custodial platform hits trouble, "trust us" is all you've got. With MotePay, there's nothing to trust — the architecture already answered the question.
